Fireside Hearth & Home Announces Winner of Fireplace Facelift Contest

Madison Living Room Soon to be Transformed by a Hearth Makeover

MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Representatives from Fireside Hearth & Home announced today that Julie Rohrer of Madison, Wisconsin is the winner of the 2008 Fireside Hearth & Home Fireplace Facelift contest. Julie will receive a complete makeover for her living room fireplace. Fireside Hearth & Home will be replacing the current wood burning masonry fireplace with a Heat & Glo Gas Fireplace as well as re-facing the original brick with Cultured Stone.

“Our fireplace is a huge focal point in the living room,” said Julie “Because it’s rather outdated it really affects the tone of the entire space. I’m really looking forward to having a gas fireplace that not only heats the room, but adds to the ambience as well.”

Fireplace Hearth & Home designers have already met with Julie to begin choosing the elements of the makeover. “We are excited to work on Julie’s fireplace so we can demonstrate how a new fireplace can invigorate a small living space” said Kevin Beardsley, Retail Manager for Fireside Hearth & Home.

Earlier this year Madison homeowners submitted photos of their fireplaces for a chance to win the Fireside Hearth & Home Fireplace Facelift contest. Entries were accepted at the Madison and Waukesha, Wisconsin Fireside Hearth & Home retail store locations and online at the contest website at www.fireplacefacelift.com.
